This Little Piggy...

How cute are these pink and brown piggy dresses for my nieces, Mia and Jadyn?? I think the Barnyard Buddies Appliques are so cute for this time of year. I think the ducky or sheep would be adorable for spring. Any takers? :)

Brother T-Shirts

A girl I used to teach with has two adorable little boys. She wanted some matching t-shirts for them for the summer. Here are the dump truck shirts:

I am working on a gheko and choo-choo train shirt for them tonight. They are my favorite so far! I'll post pics soon!

Magic Kingdom

My dear friend and neighbor wanted Mickey Mouse shirts for her trip to Disney over spring break. I made a birthday shirt for her little boy and a birthday shirt for his cousin with a matching tutu. TU-TU cute, I think! :)

Maggie's Dress & Ribbon Socks!

To date, this is my favorite birthday dress. The combination of the polka dots and gingham is so adorable! Maggie will be beautiful in it!

I am making a matching cone hat with marabou trim for this one! I'll post pictures soon!

Polka Dot Birthday Dresses

Who can resist polka dots? I love how the colors came out with the brown and pink birthday dress! Very fashion-forward!

This aqua and pink polka dot dress is so yummy....love how the ruffle turned out!

The Big Day!

On the day of Emma Reese's Party, I had hoped that the decorations, food, guests and presents would all come together nicely, but to be honest I was more excited about her wearing her new birthday dress!!! I was so pleased with the fit and how special it made her big day!

Birthday Dresses

This current sewing venture began with a desire to make a custom birthday dress for my daughter, Emma Reese. I had seen the expensive handmade ones and knew that I could affordably create one myself. Seeing the adorable applique designs available, I soon decided that I would make her several others for her birthday. Here are my first projects:

When others saw the dresses, they wanted one of their own and Sew Simple Designs was born! I'll be posting new projects as well as photo tutorials along the way so check back often. The side bar will have links for applique designs, fabric choices, prices, and other information.
